I am currently running beta 8 on an Evo 3d. 

I opened up the app and it updated but on finishing updating all my resources were gone and the screen says  [find] and under it it says no resources. When i go to the history and open my downloaded books it says resource not found even though there are characters there resembling what would of been my four downloaded books.  

I just checked my sim card and it seems that the data files are still there. I also reset my phone and still have the same issues.

 

Anyone else had this happen

i just had the same thing happen to me on my EVO 3D and my Asus Transformer.  Beta 8 was running fine earlier today until I queued it up on my Transformer approxiametly 10 minutes ago (11:45 EST).  Opening it on my EVO 3D yielded the same results... Appears that the library was updating then all resources completely disappeared.  Both devices are on wifi.  

Logos 5, Windows & Android perfect together....

I had the same thing happen Nathan on my smartphone.. there are a few other users reporting the same thing.

An additional note.... all Logos resources are intact within my PC library which seems to indicate there must be an issue with the database servers related to the mobile app only.  If anyone else is having this issue you might not want to do anything like wiping your Android device until after team Logos can respond to this.

I open up Logos on my Asus Transformer and same thing happened. No Library.

Same thing on my Samsung Epic and Asus Transformer.  Hope it is fixed soon.

Hi Kevin,

I just purchased my Transformer and I love it.  Question for you, does yours synch automatically the time and weather?  I set mine for every 2 hours but I have to force it to synch.  Any thoughts on this.  Also, what are some of the best apps to have?  I'm a bit new to tablets.

I took the Asus Weather widget for the same reason...and I replaced it with The Weather Channel widget.

I am also experiencing this same issue on my ASUS Transformer running Android 3.2.  This problem started around 9:30 PM EST on Aug 2, 2011. .  . just now getting to post. 

The problem happen when invoked the find function so I could look for a certain commentary.  The find page came up and I could see my Library find.  So I selected the link at the bottom of the first page of my library to see more resources.  Once I arrived at my second page, it only show a couple of books so I invoke the find by typing in the title of the book and that is when all my resources disappeared.  Now when I open Logos it comes to the Library (with the Find bar) and no resources are listed.

  I did try the following:

  1. Rebooted - no resolve
  2. Clear  Data (under Manage applications) - no resolve
  3. Force stop several times - no resolve
  4. Clear data >> Unistalled >> Rebooted >> Reinstalled

None of these tasks resolve the issue and I'm still experiencing the issue.  I believe Kevin Taylor is correct in saying that it is not a local device issue but one that is on the remote side.

I have been experiencing the same issue since last night at around 8 pm Central time. I am on a Nexus One running 2.3.4 with Beta 8.

I attempted all the steps that Edward listed a few times, but no luck.

Yes, select the widget (or any icon) and hold.  Then drag up to top left where a "remove app" or something that that will now be (I don't have mine with me).  And it's gone. 

It's still in the widgets area if you should want to reload it on a page.

Good morning Claybon.  Actually the Asus weather widget gets its data from the Weather Channel.  I have not had this particular issue with it.  You probably want to make sure that you have your wireless settings set to always on as opposed to cutting off after a set time period and that your sync settings allow it to run as a background app.  These two settings would create the issue you are having.  Also, what version of Honeycomb are you running at the moment?

As for best apps, can you give me a category you are looking for (games, productivity, media players etc)?

Just opened Logos on my EVO… sounds like mine did the same thing as everyone else.  It went to update and then came back with an empty file.  I uninstalled and then reinstalled app, but app did the same thing.  Sounds like the problem is on the Logos side.

Thanks for posting… I really thought something had gone wrong with my phone.

I wonder if the crash has anything to do with the new collection logos is putting up on the servers that will be free and that is huge as dan pritchett has said. I mean therer is a timing coincidence

Thanks Kevin for your quick reply.

I have my update frequency set at 1hr, my wi-fi is connected, never to disconnect and the background data (sync anytime) is checked.  I have 3.2 as my version.  I will try these for a day or so and see what happens.

As far as apps, I am looking for productivity ones, not much of a gamer.
