Add me to the list. I'd LOVE Logos on my Android phone.

I'm sure Logos would love to put their software on multiple platforms.  But right now Apple controls around 64% share of the Smartphone market:  Which is why Logos is on Apple products and is slow to develop others.  But, I'm sure that in time others will come (otherwise they wouldn't be asking for our input).  It just has to make more bottom line sense than twenty or thirty people asking for it on a forum. That, of course, is just my guess (and I'm wrong a lot when I do that!)--I have no idea what Logos is thinking.

For what it's worth, as of last month Android users used more internet than iPhone users (that's not total users, but Droid users seem to be using their capabilities more than iPhone users). If I can find the article I will post it here.

No one can deny that Droid use is growing at a much faster rate than iPhone use. It is only a matter or time before there is a legitimate Logos Droid app. The problem with a Droid app is there is no standard for Droid. An iPhone app is an iPhone app, with Droid you have to figure if you are working on 1.6, 2.0 or 2.1 or whatever. Not all phones have the same OS or support the same OS.

In the US. And that's Apple's Keynote statistic. Worldwide, Nokia is the leader for smartphones, followed by RIM (Blackberry), followed by Apple in third:

With that said, RIM's new OS release is essentially a response to Apple's growing strength in the market.

Just cross-graded from the Motorola Droid to the Incredible.  The chief thing lacking for me is a Logos App for Droid. That would make the experience truly incredible.   I wait with bated breath (and am quickly turning blue).

I'd love to see logos available on this:

It would be my logos machine.  If only it had one of those pixel qi screens.

Yes I agree whole heartedly! please consider making an logos mobile app for the android.  If you noticed HTC is hammering out so many devices this summer especially with the biggest competition to the Iphone the HTC Evo 4g.  These devices are going to be running the android OS as numerous other HTCs will be.  This would be a huge market and know this will continue to increase as more and more people leave ATT's iphone.  I am getting the HTC Evo 4g and would love to have a logos app for it.  Please consider Android which will be the best OS and most used from now and into the future.

When Logos offers an app for Droid (not library.logos.com/), I will buy two things: [1] A Droid and [2] more titles from Logos. Until then, it just isn't functional to be carrying around the laptop everywhere like I can a phone. I'd use it for reading more than searching.

The iPhone is out. Not buying poor cell coverage just to run Logos. Otherwise the iPhone would be fine.

So when the app is available for Droid, I'm ready for more Logos. In the meantime, I'll buy more paper and continue becoming less and less interested in Logos by the week.

Just saw that the Kindle App for Android's supposed to be released this summer.  One down, and one (Logos) to go!

Count me as an Android vote.  Pref with the ability to have local libraries.  And then I want world peace.  :)

Mark:

I'm a fan of KIndle on Facebook.  But you can see the announcement on Amazon's Kindle Page at the link right here:http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/ref=red_lnd_emwa?docId=165849822

Now I want to see a similar announcement from Logos.  My Android Incredible is near-great.  The addition of Kindle and Logos apps would give me everything I want in a mobile device.

I am ready to buy a cell phone now.  Would love for Logos to simply say, "Yes, we are working on Android app."  Or "No, you better look at the iPhone if you want Logos on your phone."

The HTC EVO looks awesome and I would love to get that now, with the assurance that come summer or fall we would see an android App for Logos.   :)

Thanks!

Yes we need Logos on Android phones as soon as possible. Why? Latest word is that version 2.2 of Android was released to the NexusOne (Google's phone) and for the other phones soon. This release is major and will take the speed and usability of the Android phones to a whole new level including voice guided GPS navigation and more. Also, they estimate over 65,000 android phones being shipped per day! Finally, because the development of Android applications is open and iPhone is not, the number of applications will eventually surpass the iPhone. Writing is on the wall... iPhone is the leader now but that position will be overtaken. Logos should be gearing up yesterday if not already to get an Androd version ready. Otherwise, folks will have to use other Bible products on their phones which is really sad.

I am currently a Blackberry Tour user and was waiting for the iPhone on Verizon. But Apple has delayed the offer to Verizon for so long that now I am preparing to purchase an Incredible after trying one for a few days. I no longer want an iPhone after using the Incredible. Oh wait, maybe I should thank Apple for doing us Verizon folks a favor. Thanks!

I vote too for Logos on the Android.

I am a Seminary student and a minister in our church which means I read a lot. I have just purchased Logos and so far love it. Also I am in the process of building my library and would love to have all electronic books, through Logos if possible. But what I don't want is to have to carry a computer around with me to read books. I have a Droid Incredible and can access through the web site material but I am not a big fan of reading on phone.  I have been following the post on Android and iPhone/iPad, and like everyone else would love to see an app for Android. My problem is this, do I purchase an iPad that will do what I want but be limited in other areas (Apple closed platform), or hold our for an Android app and a good Android tablet (they are coming)?
