I am new to logos and love all the resources but I have yet to figure out how to do a simple word search in a Bible translation. Just say "disciples". I am not looking for reference material just how many times and what vereses is "disciples" mentioned in the NKJV. I am sure there is a simple answer.
Welcome to the forum, Shane
There is a wealth of information in the wiki; see Searching at http://wiki.logos.com/Table_of_Contents__

Hi Shane. I am new to logos too, and am in a similar position to you. I found the following video very helpful in terms of looking at the basics of a word study from the NT:

There's also (what I think is) a similar video for OT word studies, although I haven't viewed this one yet:

Best of luck!
[PS - on closer inspection of your original post, you didn't want "reference material" so perhaps I didn't answer you query correctly. I hope the videos will nevertheless be helpful as you delve into logos more deeply!]
Shane Russell:I am sure there is a simple answer.

Nice response Todd! The other responses were targeted at teaching Shane how to fish so that he could feed himself for a lifetime (and I certainly applaud that approach!)... but sometimes we all just want a quick definitive answer, and we'll thumb through the minutia at a more convenient time.
A hearty ATTABOY (or girl) to all of you! I love how Logos forums work, and although I singled out Todd, you all gave great answers ranging from in-depth to surface solutions!
"I read dead people..."
Great! Thanks for all your help. This is exactly what I was looking for!
