I'm anticipating the rumored Amazon tablet, rumored (!) to be released in October, and am wondering how well the Android Logos app is coming along and how it compares with the iPad Logos app. Is the Android app close to the iPad app? Does it have the potential to be better than the iPad app because of hardware or whatever, or not so?

Our goal is to have feature parity with the iOS application. Eventually, new features and improvements will be released roughly simultaneously on both platforms.
The hardware is less of a factor than the particulars of the different operating systems: implementing a feature on one platform can be much more complicated than on the other.
You can see the list of currently-planned and implemented features here: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/34373.aspx

Thanks, Hunter. I checked out the FAQ link and wondered if that is comparable to what is available for the iPad. Is there a thread which already compares what is available in Android and iOS? If it's right before my eyes, please point it out to my rapidly aging ones.
And thanks for the work going into the apps.
The list of planned features are essentially what you'd have in the iOS version. the iOS app is our benchmark for the Android app at this time.
Thanks, Hunter.
