[:D]Yes George. I have suggested again and again to our good friends at Logos to make this lexicon available but no joy yet! I sure hope this makes it into Logos
I too should like to have this lexicon!!!!!
Yep ! http://www.amazon.com/Patristic-Greek-Lexicon-G-Lampe/dp/019864213X/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1374337296&sr=1-1

How can a 1961 lexicon be free on the internet?[:O]
How can a 1961 lexicon be free on the internet?
Free? Where? Besides, Lampe is 1969.

On that site it is likely that someone put it up illegally.
I don't know anything about the site. I just came across it some days ago when I googled.
There is a copyright claim, though:
Where did you find the copyright claim for the 1961 edition? It is my understanding that every book copyrighted between 1923 and 1963 has to renew the copyright to stay out of the public domain. I checked the Library of Congress catalog, and didn't find a renewal claim. Where did you find the claim?

I would like to have this in Logos too.
Adding a mention here for anyone who stumbles on this thread via a Google search.
Lampe's A Patristic Greek Lexicon is now available on Community Pricing.
https://www.logos.com/product/185239/a-patristic-greek-lexicon (as Phil, above). 1961 version.
The CP is supposed to close tomorrow. And they list a regular price of $80, vs CP of $30. I'd think maybe $49.99 after Lampe goes PP?
In any event, it seems a nice savings. Several of the L9 packages had Lampe, so that pretty much sealed the deal (the CP was floundering).
Why Lampe, when you have so many greek lexicons (you do, don't you)? Lampe looks at the 'tail-end' of greek, in its ecclesiastical setting. So, as LSJ tends to the earlier greek, Lampe goes later. And its a nice match to the LS-latin lexicon, which concentrates in the same ecclesiastic period.
Plus, Phil likes it. Ha. And George awarded it 6 (six) yes's. He got carried away.
I purposely dug up this thread, for a kudos to KSFJ .... 9 (nine) years ago!
