The Four Fold Gospel, Matthew 22:29 (pg 601) reads:  Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do not err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

Yet the KJV reads:  "Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God."

I also have the paperback version of the Four Fold Gospel and it is an agreement with the KJV.

This is a significant typo in that it has Jesus saying it is a good thing to not know the scriptures.  I know that it takes time to get typos corrected, but it think that this should go to the top of the list.

I cannot report this typo to Logos but I will when I get home tonight.

Good spot!  Eternal consequences aside, a typo like this doesn't do much for Logos' business case either. Smile

It is always possible that the typo was in the original.

It looks like the typo may have been in the original publication of the Four Fold Gospel.  This is from the Christian Classics website:

Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do not err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

I guess my paperback version has the corrected text.

I should clarify:

I didn't mean a mistake of this nature is going to hurt Logos financially. I perfectly understand how typos of this nature occur.

It was more a comment in jest that a quote from Jesus saying we don't need to know Scripture isn't ideal for a company which makes its living from selling products to help us know Scripture better.

Should this still be reported as a typo?  Even though Logos' text is correct when compared to the original edition it was later corrected.

Yes, but if you hear anything back from Logos they will probably tell you that they have alerted the publisher.
