Can anyone provide the code to create various perseus collections?

We can make various collections: baptist collection, catholic collections. Can we make a Perseus collection? A Civil war collection? A perseus latin collection etc? If yes, how would one suggest it be done? I know there is a collections wiki page. But I just figured someone might have done it already. Does that make sense?

I just typed in Perseus civil. And then I removed the three that didn't belong into the minus these resources. The Civil Wars (English), The Civil Wars (Greek), and Commentaries on the Civil War (English). These came from the classics collection. There may be a "cleaner" way to do it, but it worked for me.

I have all the Perseus offerings in one big collection then some sub collections I thought would be useful.
Perseus Collection:
publisher:perseus
Classics in Greek
Subject:"Classics--Greek--History"
Classics in Latin
Subject:"Classics--Latin--History"
Classics in English
Subject:"Classics--English--History"
Classics (the combination of the above):
(drag each of the above three collections to the "+ these resources" area
Civil War History
Subject:"Civil War"
Ancient Papyrii
Series:"Duke Data Bank"
Aristotle
Author:Aristotle
I have similar collections for other authors. The syntax is the same.
Commentaries on Ancient Literature
Title:Commentary AND Subject:Classics--English
Renaissance Collection
Subject:"Europe--History--to 1800"
The Richmond Daily Dispatch
Series:Richmond
Pastor, North Park Baptist Church

When you say "sub collections" do you mean separate collections or actual sub collections? I didn't think there was a way to do sub collections. If there are such a thing as sub collections, how does one create this?

Thanks very much for this. I was just about to pose this question to the forums. The Perseus collections are so vast that you must be able to divide it up into browsable entities to get the most out of it.

I have not seen this before but Logos is doing a great job with these Perseus Collections: [:D]
You can make a collection of each just by typing (or copying from your email) the full collection name in the "Start with" box. [8-|]
Wonder if we can get Logos to do this for all future collections........ [*-)]

...I mean sub-collections of the larger Perseus collection. They are normal Logos collections.

I've noticed that all the Perseus titles have the name of the Logos sub-collection in their description text, so you can create collections of them in Logos by using rules like this:
"Perseus Classics"
"Perseus Civil War"
"Perseus Arabic"
"Perseus Renaissance"
Etc.

Hi Rosie, I noticed that when using this method you will pick up a few strays. Note that when I used this method to create the civil war collection, I picked up three titles from the classics collection about a civil war in early history. I mentioned this in a comment a few before yours in this thread. Mark's method seems bullet proof. (By the way I missed your input when you took some time off a while back.)
Edit: you were right I was wrong. I failed to put them in quotation marks.

Perseus pre-publication orders are being processed in stages (may take several days for all resources to download).

I made all those collections from the wiki example_collections that Keep Smiling posted. They seem very practical and will be easy to use when doing research. Thanks a ton my smiley friend!
