How do I access the Midi Logos Hymnal without scrolling through my entire library list?
Find it in the library, select anywhere except the title (as this will open the resource) and drag it to the shortcut bar.
Lynden's suggestion will create a link so that you won't be "scrolling through [your] entire library list" in the future. If you are trying to locate it easier, type "midi" into the library search field and you won't have to scroll.
I think I need more instructions as I opened up Logos and clicked on the magnifying glass and typed in midi in the box and did not come up with the midi hymnal. I tried both midi and "midi" and the same refereces came up but not the hymnal.
The library is the middle of the three icons (the one with the book). You are clicking on the search icon(the magnifying glass). You can also open the Logos hymnal by typing "Hymnal" in the command box, which is the white box next to "Tools". Then select "Logos Hymnal" from the drop down box.

Hi Painfree, don't forget that when you get to the "dragging" part, you have to continue to hold down on your mouse button after clicking it.
Thanks for the screen shots Rick! I thought about doing it myself, but since I have Logos 4 Mac, I didn't want to confuse anything. [:)]
Also! *smile*
Depending on your basic library -- if you have it -- Do NOT overlook the "Logos Hymnal Media Resource," different from The Logos Hymnal and a very rich resource indeed!
2 Thessalonians 3.16
Rick, thank you for the detailed instructions.
You can also type "midi" in the text box labeled "Command" at the top of the screen. This should bring up the book as the first option, which you can choose by hitting "Enter".
Adding to Charles' note on 'Logos Hymnal Media Resource' for any passer-by's, keep in mind this resource isn't in alphabetical sequence.
Best I can figure, they stacked a series of hymnals. So if you don't find a desired song, it could be further down (my issue this morning when I was comparing the Logos media resource to Steve Green).
You can also type "midi" in the text box labeled "Command" at the top of the screen.
Thanks for the tip!
It seems that
The list of titles overlaps somewhat, but are far from being identical. (EDIT: or maybe many from 1 are contained in 2 and I overlooked this due the non-alpha sort of the titles) - I don't know about the first, but the second contains several hundred four-voice sheets (copied from a songbook, obviously) and the midi file plays the melody on piano in a rather neutral way.
