Is it likely that the NICOT/NT bundle will go on sale at some point in the next year?
Jeremy,
Welcome to the forums! The NICOT/NT bundle was on sale a couple of months ago in a back to school sale. So, with it on sale so recently I wouldn't expect another within the next year, but I could be wrong.
With Christmas just around the corner who knows what could happen.
Also, it never hurts to call a Logos sales rep. Tell them that you missed the back to school special, and ask if you can get grandfathered in for that excellent price.
Just out of interest, what was it discounted to during the back to school sale?
It was $999.95
That's interesting. I've got the benefit of Academic Pricing, and it's suggesting NICOT/NICNT is priced at $1,189.95. However, when I log out of my logos account to see what the price would be without Academic Pricing, it's still quoting me the same price. I assume this is the standard price for this product?
Is this a bug with Academic Pricing, or does it not apply to this product?
Paul
When I access the Logos website without logging in, it shows the price as $1,599.95. When I log in - to see academic pricing - it shows as $1,189.95.
Are you sure you are fully logging out?
Graham
Given the present economy, I would not be the least bit surprised to see anything on sale. A few months ago NICOT/NT was on sale at its Prepub price of $1000. That would have been unthinkable not too long ago. Things change with the economy.
Also, Logos seems to save its best sales for Christmas time and early spring.
If I wanted it though, I would call Logos and talk to a Logos sales representative now. Sometimes they can give you a really good price - kind or an individual sale. Always worth a try, and they are really nice folks.
I click on "Sign out" at the top right of my screen, but perhaps a cookie has kept me partially logged in? Thanks for the pointer!
Jeremy, ( or Paul), If you deal with a salesman and they hesitate about giving you the prepub price, if you have the cash it may help "nudge" them if you can pay for it all at once. I think the academic price is the default price for those who ask for a lower price. (But then what do I know, just a thought)
