I would like to change the default font color for copy verse so that it is inserted into a document with a different color than other text.  Any idea?

A quick thought would be to change the preference for pasting text to "Keep destination formatting", assuming you already set up the font colour in your word processor.

What I like to do is make any scripture I have in my sermon manuscript blue for easier identification.  The rest of the text I like to keep black.  Copy verse copies into a document using the same color and font as the document.   It would just make it a quicker copy and insert if the color could be blue when it comes in to the document.

This might help:-

Type Copy and click Copy bible Verses Syntax.

Thanks Dave.  This certainly gives some formatting ideas.  I will try it.
