Hi folks,
After playing with Logos 4 for PC for a few days, watching the forums and Twitter, and more tinkering with the application: I still can't determine how to duplicate the functionality from Logos 3 that allowed me to cycle through all of my Bibles and/or commentaries with the left and right arrow keys. Anyone have a solutin for me?
Thanks in advance, Gerry
"I read dead people..."
And one clarification... the arrows in the Bible and commentary panes are gray'd out. Once I was able to open multiple resources in a pane and get the gray'd out keys highlighted, but havn't been able to reporduce that partial success.
Its really crucial for me to be able to quickly flip through resources within a collection using the arrow keys on my keyboard. :)
Gerry,
If you use the right and left arrow keys on your computer keyboard the resources will shift. If you prioritize your resources in the library, they will change to those resources in that order first. Lastly, if you click on the + next to the resource tab, it will open similar resources, but in a much smarter way than L3. Open a commentary specifically on Matt and you will find the + will bring up only commentaries on Matt.
I hope this helps.
It works for me...
Did you prioritize your 5 favorite bibles?
And of course your 5 favorite commentaries
Then you can "arrow through" them BUT...only one direction...when you get to the end....arrow back or you will go into other "less desirable" resources...
Bob P has said that they are going to re-instate this functionality in the near future...so many people missed it...

For help go to the Wiki: http://wiki.logos.com/Table_of_Contents__
And Rober wins the prize for "perfect answer". I hadn't set my Bible and commentary preferences. Once I did, I was able to arrow through them! Wonderful!!
Thanks so much for the quick answers from everyone... I'm very happy with Logos 4 in general and now I'm THRILLED with it!

See. It's the same hair (different skirt). My picture was from a few years earlier

this has got to be the funniest Beta crew ever assembled...
I keep reading these threads and wondering "how did we get here from there?"
Where "There" is the first post and Here is something like a picture of a sword bearing man with a kilt.
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.
That is a legitimate complaint. Its very hard to remember the funny threads from the original title. Once a conversation has degraded to such depths there should be a "funny thread" icon that can be appended to the title so they are easier to find.

I hate print. The evidence is there for all to see.
Good news. But the "arrow through" also seems much slower than in L3. If that can be improved, so much the better.

Peter,
I noticed that the arrowing was VERY DEPENDANT on how many volumes are chain linked...if the info window is tracking...and things like that...
