Hi
As reported on a number of occasions - see http://community.logos.com/forums/p/24099/179324.aspx and http://community.logos.com/forums/t/41545.aspx for examples - using the Print/Export function doesn't preserve footnotes when exporting text into a Word document.
This is still the case in 4.5B7
Is this something which is going to be addressed?
Thanks, Graham
There are three methods of exporting from Logos into Word and they all give different results (though one of them does give footnotes). When I raised this earlier, Bradley suggested it would be a lot of work to normalise, and Bob seemed happy that the behaviour was by design.

Thanks Mark
I knew there had been an earlier discussion which included Logos but couldn't find it!
However, the thread there seems to suggest that the difficulty is with managing hyperlinks so just sorting out the footnotes might not be too bad!
Unless I am missing something
Graham
Email exchanged with Tonya about this thread. She writes: "There is an active case which cites this forum thread." No word about whether or when it's going to be addressed, but at least it's now confirmed that they know about it.
I'm using 4.5a...
to add to the confusion, if you use print/export and choose to print or to export to an XPS document, the footnotes appear.
But if you export to any other document, send to a word document, or copy to clip board, the footnotes do not appear. [:(]
Hi Rosie
Thanks for following up on this - good to know that it is an open issue.

Hi Eleanor - thanks for this. Hopefully this information might help in moving this forward
