6378.Proclaim.log

Proclaim keeps crashing whe I try to open it. I don't know what to do anymore. I was excited to be moving from powerpoint, I used it once last week and everyone at church was impressed but now it won't even open. I tried deleting it and installing again several times and it always works for the first time, until I press creater NEW, proclaim will simply quit and won't come up anymore. It keeps quitting just after the "Loggin in" disapears.

I hope someone has a solution for this problem. I am running it on my macbook pro 2.6Ghz Core2Duo with 4Gb ram and OS Lion.

God bless!

The first thing I'd do is hold down the CMD key while opening Proclaim. This will open to the Sign In Menu. Select "Show Setup Wizard" and then Sign In.

Select your desired group and then hit Next and then Later to open Proclaim.

This will open Proclaim without opening a presentation.

Try opening a different presentation than the one you had open previously (the last presentation you had open in that group is listed first, by default).

If that opens, try opening the presentation that was crashing previously.

Thanks,

- Hunter Clagett

Hello,

thanks for your reply. I have followed your steps but it doesn't give me the option to "Show Setup Wizard". Any ideas?

Best regards,

Daniel

I have tried again, but still the same problem. Proclaim will instantly quit after I press "Blank Presentation" and won't open again. I am very frustrared, I was hoping to use it for our service tonight...

Try deleting this folder and restarting: /Users/danielrodrigues/Library/Application Support/Proclaim/Data

Taking this issue offline to work with Daniel.

This issue occurs when you set your Logo background to a local file. Beta 10 (shipping tomorrow) will prevent users from doing this and include a fix for those of you who already have. Thanks for your feedback!
