THOMAS: Does anyone else feel ripped off on the New Messiah thing? I waited patiently, I contributed my years sleeping with my head on my rock, and this is all we get? This Messiah just didn't have the features that were promised.
MATTHEW: I have to agree with Thomas. I've been using The Hebrew Law since 1.0, when it was just stone tablets, and broken ones at that. I have to admit, the Manufacturer has always done good work. He kept improving an already good product. I don't know what I would have done without The Law. When I heard about the new version, The Messiah, I got pretty excited. That's the one we've been pointing to. No word on it for about three centuries, and then suddenly it just arrives. But . . . where are all the features?
PETER: Look, I know where you guys are coming from. Those of us in the inner circle had plenty of questions, and I know I was a headache making a fuss over everything. But just stick with it, you're going to figure out New Messiah and believe me, there's never been any messiah quite like it.
THAD: I'm sorry, but that just sounds like a lot of sales talk to me. I don't go back to Moses, but I was a big fan of the upgrade, David. Now that was some great messianic leadership--we whipped Philistine hiney! The new version has no military feature at all! Isn't that the one we HAVE to have? I'm just going to stick with the last version, and my three years are just down the drain I guess.
PETER: Okay, hold it, I think this is explained in some of the documentation, although Mark is still writing all of that out. But the Manufacturer is going with the idea that the military feature is outmoded. You have to understand, this is entirely new program architecture from the ground up. It just works differently, but the great thing is that New Messiah came not to condemn the old program, but to fulfill it. So you can still use the old stuff alongside the new.
THOMAS: I doubt I'll be using the new at all. It's slow, it keeps crashing my current life system... I'll have to admit, though. At one point I thought the whole thing was dead, but the Resurrection was a great new feature.
MATTHEW: I'll second that. The Resurrection, good upgrade, there was nothing like that in the old program. Still, I miss my favorite features! Where is legalism, Chosen People status, ritual purity...
JUDE: Don't forget priests. There is NO priest support in the new program. We are supposed to all do that for ourselves now! ROFL! What a scam.
JAMES/ALPHAEUS: Three years getting jostled by smelly and sick people, and New Messiah suddenly says he's going to heaven. Yeah, right.
PETER: Look, he had to go and prepare a new home page for us. But if you'll just be patient and stay online, there's a really big upgrade coming. I mean, really, really big. We can't say too much about it now, but trust me, you're going to like it.
SIMON-Z: Any delivery date on that?
PETER: Well, no one knows the date or the hour. You how this business goes.
PHILIP: Yeah, that's about what we expected.
