Perhaps Logos is going to lower the price of Portfolio.
I think they're going to introduce the next base package beyond Portfolio.
It includes every Logos title.
It's called The Trunk.

Next March the new package will be called Cornucopia: for twenty big ones you can have anything we ever offer.

I'll be putting $20 in the bank to hold on till then!
For that, you can get a listing the contents [:D]
I think I'll take advantage of a payment plan.
That Dan is such a tease! [:D] He is obviously talking about the new Logos branch office to be located in Newt Gingrich's recently proposed moonbase. (Didn't he say that it is about to launch?) I knew it was coming the moment Newt announced that moonbase during the Florida primary. I just didn't know that Bob would select Dan to manage it.
(There are no political points being made in this post. Not endorsing Newt, Mitt, Rick, or Barak. Let's don't go there with it.)
... the new Logos branch office to be located in... moonbase. ...
Perhaps Logos' opening the AZ office was only a cover story for what is really launching in AZ... Logos' "Word World"; a theme park, Perhaps it's main attraction will be the "Sync v3 Ride." Also offers free bike repair. For a limited time, great sale prices on Exercise balls--slightly unused. ;-)
Noticing the attention Logos has given to works about other religions lately - everything from the major Mormon texts to the recently unbundled Zondervan Cults & Religions Collection - I think we can pretty safely assume it's going to be the rumored 78-volume collection of Mayan writings. Sadly, someone in sales told me that it's not likely to come out of Pre-Pub until sometime in January 2013.

No, I think it's going to be an Eastern Orthodox collection. That's a glaring omission in Logos's offerings so far.

Well then, that'll be after the end of the world, as far as Mayans are concerned, so what's the point of ordering it? Unless...

Actually, Rosie, my office wall calendar ends at December 2012, as well, so I think they could be on to something. [:D]
I think we have our answer now:

No lisence for mobile devices. Please Logos/Zondervan fix this. [:'(]
Hi Lynden
No lisence for mobile devices. Please Logos/Zondervan fix this.
Good spot.
My guess (totally unbased on fact!) is that this is an oversight.
For example, NIVAC (Prophets) is available on mobile devices so I would expect NIVAC (OT) to be available in the same way.
However, absolutely agree we need some clarification on this.
Graham

Actually, this would be a deal breaker for me... A lot of the resources (i.e. The Gagging of God) will only be useful to me if I can read them via iOS.
Hopefully, as Graham has suggested, this is merely an oversight. There is a separate thread dedicated to this package. I will post the question there and hopefully Logos will respond.

I'm actually thinking not... unless Dan's big thing and Bob's are different. In recent posts, Bob seemed to suggest that the big thing involved something getting the Word out to more people, and/or that it involved something significant public domain wise, or similar to Perseus. Zondervan bundles don't seem to fit his descriptors.

And Dan said March 1! Whatever that means!
At ~ $900 US, there are many of us this bundle won't reach, including me... [st]
Can't wait to find out...
I'd wondered if perhaps it included all the free books this year so far in Vyrso.... Free tends to have a wide reach. [;)]

OK, then perhaps there's still something else big around the corner that Dan was working on. But I bet this Zondervan bundle is what Kent Hendricks was alluding to when he said, last week, "Even publishers we’ve worked with for years might change their strategy—pulling back from digital, or pushing ahead full steam (hint: keep an eye on the Pre-Pub page next week…)" Sounds like Zondervan is pushing full steam ahead with Logos as is digital publishing platform. I guess we'll be seeing more from them in the future...

Looks like it's a new library view and video resources.
What gives you the impression that it is a new library view?

I think the words "new display" are talking about a new resource (I.e. book, images, videos, etc) that will need special display mechanisms. I think they mean it is something like the way timelines currently have a different display than normal resources (like books).
Yep, its not a new library view. The correct guess was removed.
Looks like it's a new library view and video resources. I only used L3 for about three months before L4 came out and I immediately upgraded, but as I recall you could see locked books that you didn't own and even do a limited search in them. We heard March 1 was the day the news would be broken, so I guess we will see soon, but I was wondering if the they had something up their sleeve about viewing information about books you don't own from your library. (I also noticed that they have been breaking up a lot of collections and March Madness is right around the corner.)

I am 100% sure that the March 1 announcement is not related to library view. [:#]
...the March 1 announcement...
I'm guessing this has been delayed because of the significant issues with the latest beta.
I am still waiting for something big to launch. It's march already
Yeah, me too, and some people know what it is already but aren't talking! They need to talk!
Was Dan doing an early April Fool joke?

Wow! Rule #1 at Logos is "never give a date"... or something like that. Interesting.
Seem to remember Logos giving a date years ago, then actual shipment was later when product was ready to use (i.e. initial Logos for Mac release was many months later). Hence, Logos now typically avoids specifying a date.
Strolling down memory lane, found another item: on 30 May 2011, Bob Pritchett, CEO, replied => http://community.logos.com/forums/p/33734/253171.aspx#253171
Highlighting and notes are coming very soon for both the Logos and Vyrso mobile applications. We're presently behind the other mobile eBook readers in that area, but when we release we'll suddenly be miles ahead. :-) You'll have the power of Logos 4's highlighting and notes, including the graphical highlight styles and the ability to have multiple note files. And, soon, the ability to share your notes and highlights with groups, or the whole world.

Thankful for many awesome Logos 4 improvements, including Logos 4.5 with sync v2 for highlighting and notes that works across platforms. Likewise looking forward; not know what is coming (perhaps soon).
Keep Smiling [:)]
