This is a fun suggestion, but I hope Logos doesn't try to get into the hardware business, whether that be e-reader or tablet or phone. Look at B&N, a much larger company, and how they can barely compete with Amazon. Besides B&N and Amazon, and to a lesser extent Kobo, everyone else has gotten bankrupted out of the e-reader market, and many of the tablet companies will follow suit shortly as the big players (Apple, Samsung, etc) continue to dominate even more.

Yes, as I wrote: "for the fun of the idea". I am aware of the market situation, and I also doubt that something like this would ever be profitable. I myself own an Amazon kindle...

I read on my iPad, but it is too big and is not e-ink. And while I don't think Logos should make their own proprietary e-reader, I do think Logos should come up with a solution to this issue. The majority of people would prefer to read their Logos books with e-ink. Make this happen Logos! I will throw my money at you.

But I do think that the software that is marketed by LOGOS is the best for reading academic books - of any type. I would love to see a general purpose reader marketed for use with books from a variety of academic publishers from different disciplines - psychology, chemistry, mathematics, history, etc. None of the currently available e-readers provide as many options for marking up electronic text books as does logos.
This would mean, not creating new hardware, but creating a new division within LOGOS which would make the best e-reader available for many different disciplines.

This mockup is only for the fun of the idea, not a real suggestion.
The book is "The GOOD life" by Charles Colson.
Edit: Needed to be clearer on the purpose of the post. Also added watermark for clarity on the origin of the mockup.
