1, Because it has a very good chance of unseating the $160 bid, which would get this set moving again.

2, Because most sets go for lower than the bid that crosses the line - so if you only want to pay $40 or $30, getting it past the line at $50 is your best shot.

3, Because Logos possibly 'helps' some of these sets, and so we need to get the $50 price up before the $160 is helped.

4, Because it's Revelation!!!

5. Because if we wait much longer, we won't need to read about it all in books.

6. Because once you've taken a look at some of the sample pages (jump on over to the link and do that now) you will see what a rich treasure trove this is.

7. Because Rosie collects Revelation commentaries and would really like to have this set, and she needs more people to bid $50 to make sure it goes into production.

Rosie, you will love going to the James White library at Andrews University. They seek to collect every book published on the book of Daniel and Revelation.

8. Because $ 50 is an awesome bargain for 27 volumes with 12,448 pages, which have an estimated cost of $ 934.95 to acquire in hard copy.

Caveat: many more bidders are needed to cover 100 % of estimated production costs => http://www.logos.com/product/8522/classic-commentaries-and-studies-on-revelation (whether at $ 50 or $ 160 or in between: e.g. $ 90 bid has 90 % discount over hard copy).

Keep Smiling Smile

..... and the thoughts of commentators will be somewhat academic - we'll be able to ask the author Smile

Don't forget

8. Because George is working on a Revelation commentary and would like access to most of the historical exposition of the book.  Wink

I don't mind your selfishness George. Just make it affordable, say $10.00. Remember, you make your money back via many orders, something like community pricing. Wink

Because the commentary by James Durham is worth the entire price. The rest of the volumes are gravy on top.

I would get it it just for Elliot, which isn't completely available on Google Books, and would cost way over $50 if one were lucky enough to even find a used copy.
