I am in at 50.
Jack Caviness: Rosie Perera: I was preparing an appeal to all Presbyterians out there to bid on it at $50. Does this mean that a bid from this Baptist is not welcome?

Totally welcome. I just figured Presbyterians would get more excited about it since it's from "their" seminary: Princeton.

In at $50.
Merely clarifying ""their" seminary: Princeton" - Though there are exceptions, us in the PCA "now" tend more toward RTS, WTS, Covenant, vs. the PCUSA which tends more towards Princeton, etc. (of course there are other Presbyterian denoms - OPC, etc. that do not tend toward Princeton "now" either ...)
But these works are the older Presbyterian writings (OLD Princeton - Warfield, Hodge, Vos, etc.), .... some of which are basically in other resources .... so, I am in at $25, but $425 (someone is joking).

It would be nice if Logos sent e-mails to Logos users to advice to bid... who wouln't like to get this one? Tremendous resources, it's almost an obligation to get this one for 50$ :-)

Yes, I know there are more Presbyterian seminaries now. But back when this was in publication (1825-1929) that was the main (old school) one. It was before the split.
I'm in at $50.00.

While I am sure it will be a good deal, I think the description needs some work. It looks like some book reviews are listed as the book itself. E.g. I doubt that the Complete works of Jonathon Edwards really was in one issue...

Bid $25. I'd love to have it, just not possible for me at $50.
I'm in at $50 too. It's encouraging that we've been - so far at least - able to set a modest trend price for this resource which will hopefully encourage others to join in.
I put my $50 bid in.

for some reason I did see a small upward bump in the line at 50 earlier today, indicating this trend - now it's flat.

Here is a classic case of when a product doesn't make it into publication because people have an unrealistic expectation as to what it costs to get it into production.

If you are willing to pay more for a product, you should be willing to bid more!

Noticed $ 30 bids are 94 % discount compared to hard copy for New Schaff-Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge, which has 6,328 pages. If the $ 30 bids were raised to $ 50, which is a 90 % discount, then community pricing progress would be bit over 70 %. Either way, many more Logos user bids are needed.
Looking at http://www.logos.com/product/17817/princeton-theological-review noticed $ 50 hump is growing, albeit needs many, many more Logos user bids of $ 50 (or more) to cover 100 % of estimated cost for over 65,000 pages. Concur $ 50 closing would be an awesome bargain along with lots of potential search use in Logos Bible Software.
Keep Smiling
