I was very excited to see Ben Witherington in March Madness, and I was prepared for a big mark down on some of his works, so when he ended in the 35% round of deals, I was ready to purchase them all for $157.95. Then I realized that the 6 works in March Madness are available in the Socio-Rhetorical Commentary Series collection, which includes those 6, plus Romans and deSilva's Hebrews commentary, which is only $149.99.
Now I understand that I would still be getting a good deal if I was only buying individual volumes, but it would have been nice for some warning like, "if you want all of these, then check out bigger savings with the Socio-Rhetorical commentary set." I guess I am just a little bummed that the deal is no better than what I could have already gotten.
I did however pull the trigger on John Walton's Old Testament Survey!
