Copy Bible Verse (CBV) verse number font size problem

Something broke in a recent release.... started a while ago but I was too busy to write it up. I'm now in Logos Bible Software 4.5a SR-1 (4.51.0.2057).

After downloading an update, CBV started behaving differently. Specifically, when I paste verses into OpenOffice, then apply my style, the verse numbers stay at 12pt while the rest of the text goes to my style font size.

I have %NoCharFormatting in my CBV style... maybe it's not working for verse numbers? Did some googling on this but haven't found anything on it.

Bump. This is still happening and I'm now in 4.6 SR-2 (4.60.0.3010)

Had to go so far as programming a macro in my word processor to set all the selected text to the same fontsize.

Are you using [VerseNum] or some other formatting for your verse numbers?

Sorry, I don't have OpenOffice to test, but I do know that Logos CBV doesn't always work well with word processors other than MS Word.

Experimented a bit this AM to see if I could get etc. to work, but the pretty much deprecated "font" tag doesn't work in CBV.

OpenOffice.... it's free, so if you have time, download and give it a spin. I really don't know why more people don't use it. Last time I did side by side, it was about 90% as good as Word for 100% less cost.

I use LibreOffice (a code split from OO). I paste with Ctrl-Alt-Shift+V and it pastes as plain text, then apply style in LO as desired. I've written a keyboard shortcut so it is just Ctrl-Alt+V, which is a little easier to press. I rarely format the way it appears in Logos anyway, so I am happy to lose all the formatting.

Here is my "Verse & Ref" style in Logos:

Yes... it's fairly easy to get the verse into LibreOffice with no formatting at all.

But before "something broke," I could paste the text in w/superscript verse numbers, apply a style (or leave as it was) and have the whole verse go to the new font size.

The method you're suggesting works OK for getting fontsize uniform in one step... but loses superscript.
