If I wanted to get a gift card or credit for a friend, how would I go about doing it?
Great question...and my attempt to answer may not be the official word, but I'd suggest calling Logos. I know they have been able to apply credit on people's accounts through referral programs and promotions. I do not believe they have a "gift card" per se, but if the person you are wishing to gift some money for Logos already has an account with Logos, I'd suspect they can find a way.
If, on the other hand, the gift recipient does not have Logos Bible Software yet, that would change my answer to you. If you know someone who has Logos, I'd suggest you ask them to "refer a friend" and save some money as well as let the referee earn some store credit.
I know when Christmas rolls around, my family simply gifts some money which I am always grateful for and certainly use it to build my library.
My experience on the phone with Logos customer support has most often been fantastic. They'll work with you any way they can. It's worth a call tomorrow.

Christmas Sale last year included credit for future purchases, which was added to Logos.com accounts in January for use on regular and sale items (including March Madness). Caveat: Logos.com credit is not usable for pre-publication purchases.

So many people requested. I just wonder why Logos does not provide gift cards. It would add them much more $$$. [^o)]
