I'm doing some research on the greek text of a passage, and I want to copy a portion of a footnote in Wallace's Greek Grammar Beyond the Basics to a clippings file I have going on my passage of interest. When I click on the footnote reference number, a pop-up opens. I highlight the portion of the note I'm interested in. Then I right-click to select "add to clippings '.....'", only the "add to clippings" option isn't there. Is there another way around this? Is this the case with other footnotes in other works?
Thanks in advance for the coaching.

It's a work around, but here's what I've done for footnotes. Click the footnote, copy the info you are interested in. Close the footnote popup. Right click on the footnote number and choose to add a note to the clipping file. This will insert a new note in the clipping file with just the footnote number in it. Now you can paste your copied info into the clipping file.
Hope this helps.
