Anyone else with Synchronization error?

Peace and Joy in the Risen Lord to my Logos Forums Brothers and Sisters!                  *smile*

             For the last 7 or 8 hours my synchronization with the cloud fails.  It says  ...     error!  try again!

If some others have the same problem, then it's not me and my installation, I would think.

                If no one else has a problem, then I have a problem!                    *smile*

                           I did update to the Release Candidate yesterday, but it was working when I went to bed last evening.

yep, me too.

These errors exist in log:

Now, frankly, understanding what's in the log you listed there is way beyond my pay grade!                    *smile*                            If I just did nothing, would the problem cure itself from the Logos Server end?                                                                                                 Maybe?

It's not clear to me either, but it doesn't look like a network error, so the problem is probably with the server at Logos.

Hopefully, Logos already knows about it and will fix it.  Otherwise, this thread will notify them.

Ok, I am on the older[Winxp] Laptop now and before I closed the newer one[Win7] I made some serious program changes then sync. After starting L4 here the sync made all the changes to this one…so from my end all is good….

Yes, I also have not been able to sync for the last couple of days.  I think it started soon after the RC was installed.

Hi Ken

These two things are unrelated!

Have you recently changed your Logos profile, such as the email address associated with your account?

This tends to reset post counts for a while.

  I did update to the Release Candidate yesterday

Had no problem with my desktop machine (Mac OS 10.6.8), but did with both laptops (Windows 7 and Mac OS 10.6.8). Did not get a synch error, just an endless synchronizing dialog. Even restarting L4 did not eliminate the problem. Finally needed to install RC-1 manually—Then everything went back to normal.

Note that L4 had not been used on either laptop for a couple of weeks, while the desktop was in daily use.

A brand-new day here in Eastern Canada!    

             Everything is beautiful except I am still getting the sync error message.  Now over 24 hours.

I did update day before yesterday to the new Release Candidate

I do not know if mine is a "sync" problem as I did not keep the logs.

Besides upgrading to the new RC1 version all I had been doing was hiding some "Perseus" volumes [the non-english ones].

That could relate to synch, though.

Anyways it loads fine and then says "Logos has to stop etc"

BUT, if I load with the CTRL key (and select blank workspace) all is well.

I did not try it with CTRL and "not" clicjing for Blank  Workspace."

Like I say, I didn't keep logs and this has been fairly consistent since the new RC1
