Logos Across Two Monitor
Is there a way for me to have logos windows across two screen. What I want to do is have one screen with scripte text, and the other screen with commentary or other resource related to the scripture I am viewing, and as I move the scripture downward, all the other windows follows.
I think currently only the Mac versiona allow you to do this.

I am afraid that you will have to wait until version 4 to see that feature (the way I work around that is by using my laptop connected to a second screen on my desk)

Some are doing that. I'm not the person to tell you how though. I think Dale Durnell knows about it.

If I am understanding the question correctly, then the answer is yes. You can easily resize your screen to fill two screens. See below:

Yes, it is possible, however it is not too useful. I hope version 4 will bring much more usability to that function. Below is my 2 monitor workspace:

If you haven't figured this out yet, all you need to do is hit the Restore Down button in the upper right hand corner of the LDLS window and then stretch the window across both monitors. I find this quite useful. It would be nice if this were a feature built in to the program - hopefully it will be in v 4.

This requires that L decouple the child windows from the outer frame (quite possible) - or that they allow two complete instances of L to run at the same time on one machine (highly unlikely)
You seriously might want to try the span method. Fill both screens with the L window, then arrange your inner panes to have their edges wherethe phys screens split. Then save the workspace.
This works fine as long as both scrns are set for the same resolution.=============

actually. u can already do this with the "update libronix" window and "my library" window. but not the windows resources
one caveat with the "update libronix" window and "my library" window. L remembers the location of those windows. so if i put them on the 2nd display and forget to move them back after i'm done, when i switch back go single monitor setup and open "my library" again i couldn't see it because it's on the imaginary second display.
i had to select "windows" under options -> general -> interface -> user interface style. and use windows shortcut to move it back from the imaginary 2nd display back to the main display... what a pain....
and I agree with Steven, L should give users that flexibility with the interface. you can do this with their competitor's products such as Bibleworks and accordance..
In addition to the multi-window approach. I think L should also implement tabs (like firefox), now that would be very very useful for me.....

Yes, tabs would be very useful. Bible Works use it also. The best would be IMHO to be able to have an option for working on 2 or 3 monitors and Logos would help you to spread the windows in that space as it helps you to do that on one monitor.

Tabs would be great for workspaces. I would really like to have my Greek or Hebrew workspace easily accessible while also working with my Passage Guide resources. Trying it now leaves things too cluttered. Loading multiple workspaces but somehow keeping them separate would be a nice improvement.0

Another point to advocate multiple window management (or workspace). I also have 2 monitor setup with the 2nd one vertical (rotated 90degrees).
So dragging the window across is not as useful. I cannot take full advantage of the vertical orientation of the 2nd monitor.
I wonder how hard it is for L to patch up their UI.... Where can we submit a formal feature enhancement request?
