Finished IVP Series. Time for Logos?

We have Dictionary of the Old Testament: Pentateuch and DOT:Historical Books. IVP has just published the DOT:Prophets (and DOT: Wisdom, Poetry and Writings came out in 2008.)
Now that the sets complete, can we please get these two more recent volumes available in Logos?
I have written to IVP already encouraging them

Thanks for the good news on this, Ben. Also, thanks for contacting IVP. I'd love to see the rest of this in Logos.

As I recall, the release that I saw indicated that the new volume would not be available in software until 2013.

If you can find that, will you post it? I'd like to see/hear the details.

A response from IVP-
Thank-you for your interest in InterVarsity Press books! The two recent volumes from the
Old Testament dictionaires have not yet been formatted to an electronic product. They will
likely be made available by Logos as individual purchases, but we do not currently plan to
revise the existing IVP Reference Library. For the present, we do not have an estimated due
date for the electronic conversions from Logos.
I hope this information has been helpful. Please contact us if you have any further questions."The whole modern world has divided itself into Conservatives and Progressives. The business of Progressives is to go on making mistakes. The business of Conservatives is to prevent mistakes from being corrected."- G.K. Chesterton

Great news, I cannot wait to complete my set. I have all of the NT ones and the two OT volumes currently in Logos. Along with ISBE Rev. Ed. and AYBD this series are my favorite, I use them all the time.

It is good news that this seems to be coming to Logos... Eventually.
I do appreciate that Logos is constrained somewhat by the wishes of the publisher, but it would be good to see these kind of resources transfer into Logos more speedily. I look forward to the day where resources are released simultaneously both in electronic and paper format.
For now I am faced with a quandary, do I preorder the paper version or hope that this might come to L4 before the end of 2012? Decisions, decisions.

I come a little late to the game but no less ardent. I join you in encouraging Logos to complete this set. I found myself on Google Books with an intersecting project involving the excellent DOT: Wisdom, Poetry, & Writings resource. I plead with Logos to make it happen. Thanks for your post. [Y]+

Hmm. Just beaten to it by Daniel, and it makes my one thumb look half-hearted. I'd better make it two.

Why not? Having all the IVP Bible Dictionaries in one Reference Collection would be amazing!

This is an excellent series which I would love to own in its entirety in Logos format. Please please, Logos, talk nicely to IVP so that I can complete my collection! :-)

All of the IVP Dictionaries are valuable resources and need to be in Logos, not just some of them!

Six months on from the IVP statement, does anyone know if the last two dictionaries are any closer to being published in Logos format?

I would like to know what goes into the production of electronic resources, that it takes so long to produce a resource that is already in print, sometimes years. I will seek to understand this process. On the surface, I don't get it.

The thing is that I don't even expect that it is in production yet, since it has not shown up in Pre-Pub. Do all resources go through Pre-Pub?

Because Logos no longer permits third -parties to produce products for their software.
