BUG: Internal Cross-Reference links in MS Word do not compile in PBB

This issue has been discussed previously PB building fails because of internal links in Word document and Bug in PB: internal hyperlinks in Word doc

The build no longer fails, but the links are still dead—in both L4 Mac and L4 Win. These links were created with the Insert Cross-Reference command in MS Word 2011. Link verified as working in both Word for Mac 2011 and Word for Win 2010.

Does this mean that I will need to create PBB milestone and/or data type links? Hmm

Hi Jack,

I'm still working on your PBB formatting error because the inappropriate formatting was not present in the Windows version, but I ran into a different hurdle. As for this issue, can you post (or I can email you if you want) the document with the cross reference links so I can see if it works in Windows?

Believe it is the same link as before—Romans 1.24-32 (Notes).docx . I just put an updated copy of the document into the Share folder. I only have one internal link in the document at the present time. It is near the bottom of page 18, and is the φύσις/φυσικός in this screen shot.

so I can see if it works in Windows?

It did not work for me in the Windows version.

BTW: I have fixed, or worked around, the two errors reported in the other thread. The gap between lines seems to have been caused by some hidden character in the pasted text (the paragraph came from a web page). I retyped the two lines, and PBB formatted it correctly. The overlapping Hebrew text was more difficult. As I said in the other thread, I needed to change fonts and either double space between the Hebrew and the parenthesis or put the transliteration in a footnote.
