If you are experiencing the crash, what anti-virus software are you using? (I'm wondering if that is a common factor across all these failing installations.)
Please check your AV's quarantined files list and restore any Logos 4 files that have been quarantined. (Sorry that I can't provide instructions on how to do this; it is different for each AV program.)
I am running Trend Micro OfficeScan. I haven't updated/patched Windows7 since Sep2011 (corporate restrictions).

Nothing quarantined by Trend Micro OfficeScan on my Win7 installation.
OK, it sounds like anti-virus probably isn't the cause.
If you're experiencing this crash, please collect a crash dump with ProcDump (see instructions here: http://wiki.logos.com/ProcDump) and email it to logos4feedback@logos.com.
We probably don't need more than two or three, so if you see some other users posting here that they've already sent one in, then you don't need to.
Crash dump log submitted.
Having trouble with the dos command. Somewhere I do seem to be getting the syntax right.

Ok, I might hold off installing this beta. I've got a day off -it's a public holiday in Brisbane today and I've planned some study time in the Word using Logos.
Good point though Lynden for those who are down and out: Use Biblia.com or mobile device to a least get access to the majority of your resources if you don't have a backup you can easily restore.

There is a fix for the Windows version of 4.6 Beta 3 available at Logos4Setup.exe.
Please note that this build includes a number of untested code changes which could crash the program, etc. You should only install it if you are currently unable to run Logos 4 due to the "crash at startup" problem.
We hope to release a new build sometime tomorrow which will officially fix this problem, though we wanted to provide something in the meantime for those of you who are currently unable to run Logos 4.
Bryan
Thanks. I'm back in action.

Great to be back in business! Thanks!
