Resources

This question has probably been asked one hundred times. I am running Logos 4 on my desktop and laptop. The laptop is reporting less resources that the desktop. I have synchronized and updated resourses many times on the laptop to no avil. Can anyone provide direction on te procedure for getting the resourses to be the same on my desktop and laptop?
Thank you.

- copy the resource folder of the desktop onto a removable drive
- On the laptop, start L4 whilst holding Ctrl and Work Off-line
- Type scan <path to resource folder on drive> into the Command bar and restart L4 (also Off-line)
- indexing should start after a while
... the standard Resource path is:-
XP -> C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data\Logos4\Data\{random}\ResourceManager\Resources
Vista/Win7 -> C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\{random}\ResourceManager\Resources

Thanks for the help David. I appreciate it.

But I thought the idea was that the licenses are synced and then automatically downloaded. Is this not the case?

Worked like a champ on my PC, now how do I start up off line with a Mac? What does the path look like for a Mac? Thanks!

Jeff,
To turn on logging, launch Logos 4 Mac, then quickly press and hold command key until Sign In appears, release command key. Optional: click “Use Blank Layout” Click Sign In
as for the resource path, it should be similar to this for the mac:
/Users/<user>/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/{random}/ResourceManager
* Note the two places in bold that should be unique to your computer
