Brandon - Thanks for the assist and welcome to the forums! [:)] I tried posting the link, but it wouldn't paste from my phone.
Alabama,
Isn't most, if not all of this, included in the current Spurgeon Collection?
Even though I'm in for $75, I'd love to see it go for $50, but I don't know how possible this is.
I am not quite sure what you mean… Technically, there isn't a current sermon collection. There was an old version of the Spurgeon Sermon Collection, and this is what is being updated. If you own that previous collection, you will get the updated files for free when they ship. This is not the same thing as the "Charles Spurgeon Collection - 86 Volumes" and is different material.
Just thinking,
what if al the 75 bidders would go to 65, 65 wouldn't get higher, but it would be the highest point. And since they close the CP without reaching 100 procent we would have our 10 dollar discount :P

Be careful about playing this game, because if you reduce your bid, and this resource closes at a price in excess of your new lower bid, you'll miss out on this great value collection! I'd hate for that to happen... [:D]
So pleased to see this resource crossed the line with almost the maximum time left to try to reduce the price further before next Friday's closing. I hope more people jump on board now the Spurgeon sermon collection will remain in CP for a limited time only, and also hope a few people increase their bids because I think this does represent great value for money if you're interested in these sermons.
[Logos - Please consider reducing the $5 increments as anything saved on this resource - even a few $s - will make this great value collection even better! Thanks.]
I think I'm thinking about the old Spurgeon's Works that was put out in L2 format back in the late 90's! I've got most of that material via that already, but I imagine it would be better and indexed and all that!

If it is the Sermon Collection from L2, then you will get the update.
You all do realize that the 100% mark at $75 has not yet been crossed do you? All this talk about lowering the price and smaller increments is a bit premature at this point.
Hi Alex
Sorry but I don't understand your comment.
The $75 price seems to have been accepted and is closing next Friday.

When a CP "crosses the line," Logos puts a closing time and date at the bottom of the info page. [;)]
Only way the price is gonna lower is if more people bid higher. Listen to my advice or not...Im getting it free![:P]
It seems certain that those many folks who bid $50 will not get the pre-pub pricing. Five years from now (sooner??) $25.00 will seem like little extra to spend, and it seems likely that if many $50 bidders bid $70-$75 that would drive the price down to $70 and maybe even $65. So for perhaps $15-20 more, you'll get 63 volumes of rich sermon material, Bible expositions, and other material.
May I encourage you to get in while you can?
Well, I probably can't explain it to you if you can't see it for yourself. There is NO ARROW on the chart and the price is currently at about 99% at the $75 level. It has languished at about 96% for weeks now with little if any progress. Then suddenly it moves up to almost the 100% level. This is not activity based on more buyers all of a sudden. Most likely Logos has felt it reasonable at this point to put the resource into production. One thing is for sure - until it crosses the 100% level, you're not going to improve the price to $70 or less.
And by the way you're seeing the same process going on in the Ezekiel collection, albeit a bit more obvious.

You're missing the point - it hasn't CROSSED the line at the time of writing.

As Alabama24 has pointed out; Logos has announced a closing for this resource and the current price is $75. Any additional bids or increase in current bids could have a positive effect (or neutral, at worst.) I have never seen Logos back out of a Community Pricing closing announcement. I suppose it could happen if a lot of $75 bidders canceled. But that is not going to happen with this resource.
We can possibly see $50 if we get the word out. [:-*]

Trust the announcement over the graphic! It has "crossed the line."
So you would say the same about the Ezekiel collection - it has "crossed the line" even though it has clearly not "crossed the line".
(Actually, there must be a mistake on this one as it's dated for the 20th of April. And was this not due to be shipped today at one point? I have it ordered but I don't see it anywhere on my account, and I had something due today and I don't see it now.)
It's back on the pre-pub page now for shipping today.

I think something is going on here. The Ezekiel CP collection was supposed to ship today (09/13/2012) on my Orders page and now it is back in CP saying it will close when the graphic shows it hasn't hit the 100% line yet. Huh?
Obviously the Ezekiel Collection reappearing in Community Pricing is a human error. It has already graduated to Pre-Pub status and will be shipping in a matter of hours.
And you can count on the Spurgeon Sermon Collection closing next week.

Matthew, How do you know these things?!
..................the zeke CP is no more!
As I understand it, it did indeed cross the line and hence got a closing date, BUT there are some out there who do not understand the system and decided to either cancel or lower their bid meaning it has now ducked back BELOW the line.
What this means if that if their are no new bidders and no one raises a lower bid to the $75 mark, it may close in a week (Friday noon pacific time) and the only people to get the extensively improved volumes will be those who had bought them at their earlier full price (before these upgrades went into CP).
Time will tell, there is still a week to go..... [*-)]
Or Gal [:)]
and the only people to get the extensively improved volumes will be those who had bought them at their earlier full price
I do not believe that to be the case. I could be wrong but I think only those who have a $75 bid would lock in the price and Logos would absorb the difference
Time will tell.

Or Gal
It had to be a guy. Gals don't make mistakes, do they?
I was about to contradict your statement, but my wife said I was mistaken. [;)]
Keep bidding - I know it's a great deal at $75, but I really would like to pay less.
