Repeatable. Was not doing anything at the time.

Tried working offline, tried working with a blank layout. Still crashes.

Lynden, you may already be aware, but your logs show a Crash Error that is identical to that of Michael in the other thread.

At least the error is a consistent one.

As I type this It is still only 7 am Bellingham time (I am at 10 am Eastern Time) etc so it may be awhile yet before we hear from them as to a "cure".

Thank-you on behalf of other beta testers for catching this.

I appreciate that.

The log says that it is missing a key in a collection - maybe it would help others, more knowledgeable than me, to see the full Logos4Log so they could see which collection it was trying to open (on a blank layout? Or does the log speak "IT" and means something else when speaking of a collection")

That log mentions Handouts. I wonder if this is similar to the problem last time with Wordfind? Maybe removing the handouts will allow it to load? Just guessing...

I do NOT think so as I have NO hanouts or Word FindPuzzles saved.

YET mine also crashed within 2 minutes. And shows identical error (as that posted by other 2 posters).:

 Error ID: 2745

Error detail: KeyNotFoundException: The key was not found in the collection.

I installed this last night and ised it for about 2 hours without incident. Not trying rub anything in, just wondering why some are crashing and some are not.

Logos has replied on the other thread.

With their suggestion:

STEPS TAKEN:

1. I deleted the whole Handout folder.

2. Loaded L4 Beta 3 &

3. immediately found and deleted this "phantom" handout from my file menu. [For now anyways] that has solved the issue.

Deleting the handouts folder seems to have resolved the problem.
