OK, as if to prove my point from my previous post - can anyone tell me how to open or use the new Timeline feature? I can't get it to come up. The teaser demo video is, well, useless.
This video, "How to use Timeline Pt. 1", should be more helpful: http://youtu.be/0VT5IzkJcrY
[Edit: apparently embedded YouTube videos don't work on the forums]
Timeline is in the Tools menu, center area under "Bible Reference" section
You can also use the command bar such as "Open Timeline to 33bc - 33ad" (without quotes), or any other date, or date range
Go to tools, Timelines should be in the middle under Biblical Facts (or it might on the bottom under Bible Sense Lexicon) don't have Logos 5 open, on my iPad.
1. Make sure that all your downloading and indexing is complete - what isn't there can't be used.
2 Tools - Timeline

Apparently my L5 is not working properly. I don't have anything in that center section. How can I get it?
Fred there are two downloads and the timeline comes with the second one. If both have downloaded then you may need to check that you purchased a package that has the timeline. If so, contact customer support.
Timeline comes in Silver and above.
I purchased Platinum. Logos 5 says that it is up to date.
Make sure everything has downloaded, Timelines are available for Bronze base packages and above.
You can type "Update Now" (no quotes) in the command bar to check if there are more updates to download.
Or you could try 'update resources' since the databases are included in resource updates.
For some reason it was not a download issue. I rebooted, and then reopened L5, and then got the "preparing your library" message. After that, I now have the proper menu:
Glad you're a happy camper Fred.
