Hello,

I used to have Logos 3 (Libronix?) and then I switched to Logos 4. But, I didn't actually buy any packages. I simply installed a base package, I guess it's called.

But, that was some time ago. In the meantime, I've reformatted my HD as I like to do on occasion, and now I'm looking to install Logos 4 again. I don't want to pay for one of the packages. I just want the base program so I can use the software that I've already purchased in the past.

Can anyone help me find it, because I didn't have any luck looking through the FAQs a few days ago?

Thank you and God bless,
Mike

The program is HERE. FYI - A "base package" is a large collection of books. The program itself is called the program engine. It doesn't sound like you have a "base package"

Here is more about installing: http://wiki.logos.com/Getting_Started_with_Logos#Installation_.2b_Indexing

You're right. Base engine. I didn't know what it was called, but I knew there were many smart enough to help me out, you being one of them.

Thank you friend. Greatly appreciated.

Edit: It appears the link is broken. Can someone try it? Maybe it's because I'm using Google Chrome...don't know.

Edit again: I find a link here: http://www.logos.com/4ways.

Glad to help, and glad you found a link that worked. I just hovered over the link I provided and it looks right… maybe there was an extra punctuation mark or something.

I'm looking for L4 base package pricing. Could someone help me find it. I might be able to afford a L4 base package now that 5 is out.

I am sorry James, but L4 is no longer sold. It will remain supported, but AFAIK it will not be sold.

Hmm. But then there are the XP users. I suggest you call Sales to find out.

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

Not at all. We are no longer selling Logos 4 base packages, but you can always download and install your library here: http://www.logos.com/install4

Thanks,

Chad, certainly not. Please read the following:

http://community.logos.com/forums/t/58259.aspx

Note that the the crossgrade package Bob talked about was released last night. See other posts here on the Forum in the last 24 hours.

Also, the free L5 engine upgrade will be available in the first quarter of 2013: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/59759/425345.aspx#425345

I would strongly consider either the Minimal crossgrade or the Core datasets.

Thanks for the quick response.  Sorry if the tone of my last post sounded harsh....
