This is a problem that I have had for years. Something about my Webroot Security software does not like Logos. I have been frequently asked for updates in LOGOS4. The answer then was simple. I needed to right click on my LOGOS4 icon and then choose: RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR. The problem was solved.
I just downloaded LOGOS5 and received the same error. I followed the old patterns. However, there is no icon for LOGOS5 - only one for LOGOS4. How do I get around this error message now?
Perhaps this will provide a more permanent solution - http://wiki.logos.com/Fixing_Logos_4_folder_Ownership
As for the icon, it should still start L5!

Thanks. That works perfectly!
I seem to be getting the same error but the security permissions are set to my userid and it wont fix. I am running windows 8 and it was working fine before the latest update attempted.
Any ideas?
