I was working in a motel with intermittent internet connection. I believe I told Logos I wanted to "work offline" but now that I am back home I would like the online content of my homepage back... How do I accomplish this?

I did this and restarted several times. I also held the control key to force the sign on dialog but still only have three Items on the "homepage."
All the internet content is still missing.
Open to any ideas...

Two thoughts:
1. Click "customize" in the bottom left corner of the home page and make sure everything is checked on.
2. Try hitting F5 a few times to refresh the home page.
I just started having this problem too. I only had "excerpts" checked and it gave me the images. However now they're gone. But if I check every box "logos blog, logos pricing, etc." they show back up again.
Weird huh?
Recently Melissa stated that the excerpts repeat on a limited cycle, and only show if you own the particular resource they pertain to. In some cases it's possible that toward the end of the 30 day cycle you'll run out of excerpts before the next cycle starts up again.
I guess it could be, but it's weird because I've had my homepage set the same way for about 5 months and never had a problem til now.
Try Shift+F5 on the home page. This clears the history of what excerpts have been shown already (which is designed to avoid repeats within 60 days). Maybe something got corrupted in there.
Woo-hoo!! Looks like shift was the magic button. I'd tried F5 several times with no luck but shift seems to have fixed it.

[Y] I want to thank you for your suggestion because this is the second time I've had to "fix" my homepage. It always seems to mess up after an update has been installed. Most of the time just clicking F5 works but when it doesn't I come here and find your post and then remember what to do to fix it and so far it's worked every time! Since this is the second time though, I'm now copying what you said and putting it in my library notes about how to fix things on Logos 4 ...that will be easier then having to go through the search every time lol [:)]

Cynthia, I just went to look at the wiki documentation about the Home Page and realized that this is a normal occurrence which can happen whenever all the possible excerpts from your library have been shown within the last 60 days. It is more likely to happen to people with smaller libraries, but Shift+F5 is definitely the documented solution for it. So it doesn't mean "something got corrupted in there" as I'd said in my previous post.
I had to come back and look at this again because it's happening again and it's so annoying! The one thing I don't understand is what you said about "all the possible excerpts" having been shown. With all the books I have, I don't see how excerpts from them all could possibly be shown in a couple of years much less a month! I have a huge library. For the last month I've been trying to be patient, but finally ran out of patients because it's been showing the exact same pictures and excepts over and over and over and over and over....yuck! I want something new and there's so much in my library I don't understand what the problem is.... I've even tried rearranging how I've prioritized things thinking it would put some other resources on the homepage.... Oh well, sigh...going to hit shift F5 now...again...
can't anyone help me? I have a second problem with it too in that I recently changed my email address and changed it in my profile at Logos as well of course, but my home page still shows my old email address.
The main things I want to show are excepts, devotionals etc. I NEVER have a problem getting any of the Logos stuff to show up, it's only the important stuff that doesn't show up half the time or when it does it's simply repeats and over. In the past I'd always have at least 2 full pages of this, more when I included logos blog and other logos stuff of course; now it's down to less then one page without the logos stuff. Mine was always the same for a very long time, until an upgrade happened--I don't remember which one though, and ever since then I've been fighting it. Sometimes hitting shift F5 works, but lately it hasn't. I'm just discouraged I guess.
can't anyone help me?
Cindy, I don't understand how you realise "important stuff" is missing e.g. I got three pages today but I often get five pages. I don't know that anything is missing (and I request Excerpts). A screen shot might help to illustrate your issue but I think it best that you contact Logos Customer Service e.g. customerservice@logos.com or by telephone.

I'm sorry but I'm just too tired and disgusted to deal with this today. It's pretty easy to tell when there used to be a dozen excepts from my commentaries etc and the next day there's either none or only one or two.
Having spent all day yesterday totally frustrated with my own (non-Logos) software, I thought I'd see if I could help you in your frustration. What puzzles me is that I've never had "a dozen excerpts from my commentaries etc." showing. That makes me think that somehow we're talking past each other. So:
I normally have these turned off, but when I turned them on I got 6 occurrences out of a library of 1454 resources (excluding hidden books). How many occurrences do you get?
It's pretty easy to tell when there used to be a dozen excepts from my commentaries etc and the next day there's either none or only one or two.
As Dave suggested, it would be very helpful to actually see your screen. I would tell you how to do that, but I am a Mac guy so "command- shift - 3" wouldn't work for you. [:)]

There is a degree of randomness with excerpts. I've twice generated the Home Page and it created 6 each time from a total of 1761 available!

Yes, that's what I'm talking about. I usually get around a dozen of them every day. I appreciate you trying to help but I'm beginning to doubt if anyone can anyway. What aggravates me no end is the way they repeat over and over again with the same things as well as how one time there's a dozen and the next time there might be one or two.
As far as a screen shot goes, I do know how to take them but just don't have time right now. Besides which I'd have to wait until it decided to cooperate and put up the usual number so I could take a shot of all three pages and then wait till it did the opposite and only put up one or two on one page.

For grins, pressed F5 a few times to regenerate Home Page (along with checking and unchecking home page customizations): noticed # of excerpts is nominally 6 (sometimes 4 or 5).
