Jerry Spidell:

Also, I seen prices for Bible  collections around 1800 dollars. What would Jesus say about selling His word for that exuberant amount and denying the poor access to study His word?

Logos can only be denying the poor access to study His word if they somehow remove every alternative Bible study software programme, text, Sunday school (and Bible for that matter). A substantial portion of the texts on offer through Logos can be found for free on the Internet -- check out Spurgeon's sermons, some of the classic commentaries, and the Bible translations -- what they're charging us for is not the word, but the time and effort put in to transfer it to a format that can be searched, tagged and annotated.

(BTW. Exuberant: full of energy, excitement and cheerfulness.

In the words of William Goldman: "I do not think it means what you think it means.")
