Bible Word Study - Septuagint Translation

Hi - looking for some help of the BWS Septuagint Translation field. I have L5 Gold and a few language resources, though fairly basic. In Mark Barnes' videos and in the Camp Logos videos, when Mark and Morris run the BWS, they have a Septuagint Translation field. What resources, or package, do I need to have this feature?

I purchased Rahlfs Septuagint with Logos Morphology, but it didn't provide the functionality. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I do own NA27 and BHS4.2.

What Testament are you in when conducting the BWS? The Septuagint Translation section only appears when working on a Greek word, so New Testament?

Actually, a Greek word alone should do it. Try something super simple like g:theos to see if the section comes up. If it doesn't, have you changed the default template for the BWS - look at the upper right for the Add option and see if it says you can add the LXX. Otherwise post a screen shot and we might be able to figure your problem out.

Thanks MJ & Graham. I was doing a BWS on Matt 1 as per Mark's video. My default English bible is NASB so I thought it should work. I'll check when I get back to church tomorrow morning and try your suggestions.

I've just tried a BWS on Abraham from Matthew 1:17 in NASB (selecting the lemma from the right-click menu) and the Septuagint Translation section came up fine.

I'm heading to bed but Graham, could you check that his bible choice has a reverse interlinear? If it doesn't that would explain the problem.

Good morning Graham & MJ. I have reworked the examples and checked everything I can think of and the following screenshot has no Septuagint Translation field. I tried to add another field to the BWS and the only field I could add was translation - but when going through the available Bibles that were available, they were ones that had reverse interlinears. Before making the original post, my default bible was HCSB, so I thought that was the issue, and changed to NASB. After purchasing Logos LXX yesterday the library was indexed, but maybe that's the problem. My main software for the past 7 years has been Acc.... so the Logos way is still a bit new to me. Any thoughts are again appreciated.

After purchasing Logos LXX yesterday

The "Septuagint Translation" section depends on a Greek-Hebrew reverse interlinear; it's not unlocked/activated solely from the purchase of a LXX.

As far as I know, the necessary reverse interlinears are only available in a Logos 4/5 base package and are not available for individual purchase. To the best of my knowledge, a LXX/HB reverse interlinear will eventually be available in Logos 5 Bronze, but is not yet complete so it may not currently be advertised on the website.

Thanks Bradley. I upgraded to Logos 5 Gold from Logos 4 Bible Study Library so that probably explains its omission at the moment. When you say that the LXX/HB reverse interlinear will eventually be available to Bronze, I assume that it will also be available for the higher packages. If that's the case, I'll wait in anticipation.
