Logos 5 installation does not run

Just downloaded & installed Logos 5

Programme will not run - just displays Logos & then "stopped working" message.

Tried rebooting - still will not run

Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2. 32 bit, 4GB RAM 2.4GHz processor

A very bad start! Any suggestions? In Australia - ringing Logos at international rates not an option.

Urgent - please help!

Brian, sorry you are having trouble. We'll need to see some logs. Wiki.logos.com/diagnostic_logging explains how to enable permanent logging, where to find, and how to attach the files to a post here. After enabling logging, rerun Logos and after it crashes attach the log files to a follow-up post.

Brian, that is one of the logs. It is enough for now. Next time please .zip the files together and attach the file to a post using the paper clip icon on the compose message form.

We've seen similar errors although this one is on the Prayer database not some other. Right now I don't have access to my computer to search the Forums for a solution (I'm on my iPad). I think someone else could do that. And give you a suggestion.

5.0a has been released, which should address this issue.
