Continuing to have random crashes. Logs attached. 4478.Archive.zip
Reading through your logs didn't reveal anything obvious that is causing the problem. I've passed this information on to our mac developers.
Can you recall anything specific you were doing when this crash happened?
Ryan
I had posted in the thread about L5 crashing when using the Bible Sense Lexicon, however, the crashing seems to be more sporadic. L5 just crashed again. I had several resources open, one of which was a word study on "false witness" in the NT. When I clicked on the pronouncement speaker (i.e. to hear how the word was pronounced it crashed.)

Reading through your logs makes me think this may be a hardware issue. The errors I see look like they are happening with trying to open a file. It's also possible that one of your database files is corrupt. I'm going to add these logs to the case I had written up previously so our mac experts can take a look.
In the meantime I would recommend:Check for a full hard drive or full RAMClose other applications and see if there are too many apps fighting for limited resourcesRun a tool to check the disk drive (not sure what tools are available on a mac)
You mentioned that you've got other threads going as well so I apologize if these recommendations are duplicating those threads (or if they make no sense in a mac world [:O]).

Don't remember what I was doing. Crashing is inconsistent. And if I remember correctly, there was not even a crash alert this time. It just disappeared. I don't seem to have as many crashes when I enable logging. (Kind of like when my wife can't get something to work until the one time I am watching.) But it does seem like all crashes seem to happen shortly after Logos startup.
I don't think your following post was directed to me. But I am using 512 SSD with half space still free and have 16G of ram. Thanks.
Ryan,
Thanks for your response! You have not repeated anything from the other thread. I have 8gb of ram as of the last crash there was apporx. 3gb free. I have a 750 gb hard drive with more than half available. Sometimes I have other programs open, but it doesn't seem to matter.
These crashes appear to be related to a "Too many files open" issue on Mac. This issue was fixed in 5.0b RC 2 for beta testers, and will be fixed in general when 5.0b ships to the stable channel.
