Can anyone suggest some sermonic resources that utilize alliteration?
John G Butler's Analytical Bible Expositor is actually pretty clever at doing this. After reading what he does with a passage, it opens up a whole new mode of alliterating said passage.
I would recommend checking out some of his work in the book previews...
Someone needs to compile the sermons of the late Adrian Rogers. That man could make any passage dance in alliteration--and it never seemed forced.
As Paul stated, anything from John G. Butler will be valuable to use. He's a master at it!

That is (perhaps) going to happen. Check out: http://www.pastortraining.com/legacy/
That would be an excellent resource to have in Logos. maybe Logos could partner through the pre-pub program and help make it happen with enough pre-pubs.

I'd buy it for sure!
John G. Butler's works are helpful, though a few "forced." Also the outline Bible by Willmington contains several alliterated outlines. And of course, Rod Mattoon, but his works are not yet in production, though some day they might make it out of the pre-pub program. Sermons for a year 1 & 2 has some alliterated sermons and try doing a search in your library, you might have others that use that method. Also come up with your own, it's fun, but don't force it.

Is Mattoon on Pre-Pub yet?

Yes, unfortunately, Mattoon is still on Pre-pub. I wish it would make it out of there, since there were a lot of us who wanted it. At least John G. Butler's on the Old Testament is making it's way to completion.

Great. I didn't realize it was even on PrePub. I placed my order.
