I hesitate to bring this up again but, I do have questions I'm sure some of you can answer.

I L4 (4.6a sr-2 (4.61.0.3360) last update to L4, there is the green book icon that when clicked I get a list of my sermons that I posted in L3.

I don't get anything when I click little green book icon in L5, yet I read this on this page...

All the Sermon File features of 4.6a are also in Logos 5.

I don't understand...as a pastor I have been working toward moving hundred's of files into 'Onenote'.

And, I don't like having to paste the 'Sermon file data template'  into docx file to get it into PB.

Can anyone explain above?

The sermon / indexing feature for PB's that was in 4.6a is the same as it was in 5.0

I don't recall such an icon from L4 - can you post a screenshot?

Robert is refering to his previous thread: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/60287.aspx in it we speculated it was likely a shortcut to a compiled L3 sermon file. A screen shot would help confirm.

Or it might be an L3 add-on - there are some that run automatically when L3 is started. But either way it's not a L4 feature and thus not retracted from L5. Maybe trying to run L3 on the new machine would help (but Win 8 sometimes might become difficult)

Yup. The green book icon is a shortcut. The sermon file book was imported from L3's complied version.

Well, Logos 4 when it is installed scans the default resource folder for Libronix and copies over any books it recognizes the licenses for. It copied your compiled sermon file book. Then at some point you dragged the book to the shortcut bar and customized it with the green book icon.

Don't remember doing that.

But it makes sense...okay, case closed.

Thanks for the help getting to bottom of this; it has bugged me long time.

Thanks
