I just upgraded from Logos 4 to 5.
I have a pretty large library - the download is 11 gigs. I neglected to plug in my ethernet cable so the download is coming through the router slowing things down.
Can I "pause" the download or will that totally mess things up?
I know we can pause indexing but the icon doesn't suggest we can pause the initial download.
My whole library is downloading because I just bought a new laptop.
You can kill the Indexer, reconnect cables and then restart L4. The download should resume from where it left off (or it might upgrade to L5 and then resume the download).

I'm running Win 8.
The download icon in the system tray offers a "cancel download" option.
And I can kill the indexer through task manager...
(trying to be funny now) I was just looking to be sure my gyrations wouldn't upset all the biorythimcs and planetary alignments that are necessary for a good install...I'm "scared." To many "my Logos 5 is crashing" or "index crashing" or "won't open" nows in the forum.

I'll forgive you

Take the soft option! Either way any files downloaded will be kept.
Thanks...you're confidence in the Bellingham people is reassuring...
