Greetings everyone,
I have a text file with a book which isn't copyrighted. I was wondering if it was possible to include this book into Logos 5?
Is it even possible to write a book and maybe publish it to others through Logos? I am currently writing on a book in Swedish if anyone is curious why I ask.

Yes. Otherwise you would need permission from the copyright holder
Yes, you can distribute your own Personal Books but not directly through Logos. You can upload the docx files to the Files forum.
Absolutely. That sounds great. Thank you. The book isn't finished yet but I am working on it.
If you weren't wanting to sell it this would not be the means to do it. You would need to contact Logos directly and see if they would publish it on your behalf.
If its just to share with people without being paid then method works but you need to remember once you give people your source document, they can edit it, give it to anyone else etc you have not control what is done with that source file.
Hi Alexander,
Actually there is a very powerful tool to add our personal resources to Logos 5. Its called the Personal Book Tool. It requires the use of Microsoft Word’s .docx file format. These resources can be enhanced with some special formatting.

Although this is specifically from Logos 4.6 it is still accurate for Logos 5
Logos 4.6a
At some point in the future there will be a Personal Book store where we can sell our book for free/paid. The only rule is if Logos offers a book themselves we cannot share a free or paid edition of the book. For now you can share your book on the forum by posting the .docx file if you want to now.
Blessings,
