What should be reloaded after a Logos crash?

L5 has just crashed again (the 1887 error) and on restarting it I just get a blank layout.
(This is L5.0b B1 on Windows 7)
Before the crash I had multiple tabs open across the main window and four floating windows.
In Program Settings I have Logos set to open to the "most recent layout - any"
As you can see from the screenshot below Logos isn't automatically saving any layout snapshots
I'm not actually invoking any layout, just starting from a blank screen and adding resources.
Is this correct behaviour or should snapshots be being generated?
Thanks, Graham

From the screen shot the most recent layout is the blank "Application Closed" at 7.12am Today. That is what you'll get if you crash again!

If a snapshot was saved and Logos crashed shortly after you'd still get the most recent "App Closed" (or other named) layout as that is assumed to be safe. I don't think snapshots are loaded in any situation and Logos would have to clarify when they are generated.

It is the generation question which I am really thinking about here - as far as I can see I am not getting any snapshots generated automatically (if I look through the history I can see one which was sometime in December). The only saved layouts are "Application Closed" or ones I have saved myself.

And Logos has just crashed again - but on reloading all of my previous tabs were open.
So I am now confused[:)]

Was that from the Layouts menu?

No - they were just there when Logos started again.
