I was really worried my upgrade from L4-L5 would leave me sorry because I just dont have the time to reconfigure everything when it comes up on 5.  Yes the money verses the resources was a humongus factor but I was past that.  It was the fear of chasing lost resources, re-doing layouts, resetting preferred resources, and all that holding me back.  Between work, family, and Seminary I would have had very little patience for tools that don't work.

I bought 5 dia (from 4 plat) last night around 9pm via chat after another round of assurances that all would be fine.  I did an "update now" around an hour later, started the download, and went to bed.  This morning I "installed update".  My L5 Logos came up with my same layout, tools, preferences...so far as I can see I am totally back in business with no issues at all...at my first startup the "only" thing I notice, past checking that the new books I wanted were in the library, is that there is a "5" after the "Logos Bible Software" at the top of the screen; which is exactly what I needed.  I'll explore the new stuff later.  Wow, Thanks, Whew!

That's pretty much how it worked for me too.  I love the new features and will continue to insist that Logos has the best Bible study software available.

I am glad to hear your update went smoothly. Just to reiterate you can never loose a Logos resource. If you upgrade to any new package you always keep every book you owned and all the new content.
