Android Suite 2.2.12 Stable Release

The Android team is pleased to announce a new 2.2.12 stable release of the Bible, Biblia, FSB, Verbum and Vyrso apps.

Version 2.2.12 will replace the 2.2.10 apps currently available in Google Play and Amazon.

If you installed the app via the download link you can upgrade to the latest beta by clicking on the download link listed below, download the apk to your device and upgrading your existing app. If you want to receive an automatic notification when a new beta is available click on the gear icon, selecting the “about” option then change the Update Channel option from “stable” to “beta” (no quotes). Note: This Update Channel option only appears on the About page if you installed the app via our download link.

If you discover any issues please create a new post and include the following info:
  Description – How were you using the app when the problem occurred.
  App Info – Which app you are using. (Bible, Biblia, Faithlife Study Bible, Vyrso)
  Device Info – (Nexus 7, Motorola Triumph, Droid Bionic)
  Android Version – (2.2, 2.3, 3.x, 4.0, 4.1)

• Force Close at startup on some devices (esp. Kindle Fire) when signed in with large reading plans
• Missing Biblia-specific text, eg. notification titles

Known issues

• Notes are not fully editable
• Highlights styles do not display properly in “normal” color scheme in CyanogenMod 9 and below
• App is extremely sluggish for some users with very large libraries

Kindle Fire Device users should download and install the app and any updates via the Amazon Appstore. Once the updated version is installed the in-app update notifications will go away.

Kevin, I got the free Faithlife Study Bible on Jan 11th on my new Kindle fire and have never been able to get into it.  It knocks off my wifi as soon as I try to get into it.  Any suggestions?  To say the least I am frustrated!
