Hyperlinks in books
Not sure if this goes here- I am running the latest Beta, but here goes:
I am reading several dated books- 1850-1880- having to use Oxford dictionary to lookup words- would like to hyperlink that definition to that word- but have found no way to do that- any suggestions?

A note with a link to the Oxford entry?
Using a Community Note instead would work as well, if you link to a web-source (including biblia) - unfortunately Logos links are not (yet, I hope) supported

As I feared- this would be a great addition- to have these hyperlink abilities within Logos.

If I understand your question, you can have your resource up, Prioritize your Oxford dictionary (there are several within Logos), and open the Information pane. The information pane can be set to display information on a word whether you hover over it or click on it (change that in the Pane's settings). So the way I have it set up, as I see a word that's odd like "Stripling", I click on it, and it goes through my Information pane giving me all the hits on it. Often I find resources like the ISBE Encyclopedia will find a match and display results, so a good prioritization list is very helpful.
Others may do it differently, but I find this very useful. Does this help? If not you may want to display some pictures of what you are trying to do so others can address more specifically.

Hmmm! did I miss something but it only references MW Coll. 11th ed.- Oxford for older words has a more concise definition.

Maybe I wasn't too clear about my explanation.
- Simply Double-Click on any word will invoke a dictionary lookup in the order of priority (i.e. it will fetch Oxford first, if you prioritize it higher than other English dictionaries).
- Right-Click will give the context menu and lets you choose the dictionary you like.
Somehow I assumed you knew that already, but wanted to avoid it and rather have the information visible directly (especially if you maybe had to research a rare word accross several dictionaries) and therefore create your own hyperlink.
- Using a Community Note will put a CN indicator before the selected word. The Community Notes will appear in the separate small tab to the right. The Logos internal link I cited above will not work (red box) - that's the only "great addition" to be desired for (yes, Yes, YES, [Y] ). However, external links to the web will work in Community Notes, Thus I put http://biblia.com/books/coed11/word/approbation into the CN, which nicely puts the content into the Note (green) and will invoke biblia when clicked.
- Using a Note will put a Note Indicator before the selected word. It also will give the Notes' content as a mouse-over pop-up, which really is nice - look for the yellow marked boxes in my larger screenshot above. This is probably the best solution to not disrupt your reading in the future once you've figured it out in the first instance.
If you like, you can put further reference links into the note, from external or from within Logos (blue box above - you put logosres:coed11;hw=approbation into the field that comes up at the chain-link - this link is what you get when you select Copy Location as URL in the COED's menu, blue box below)

Thanks MB- I went with Don's suggestion- and only because I do not want note tags everywhere. The note tags are why I would like to be able to hyperlink, and would also love to be able to choose the color, of the link, especially for dictionary purposes.
