Richter Hebrew Morphology Question?

On the Logos Compare packages I noticed that I own three out of four resources and datasets of the Richter Hebrew Morphology. If, I upgraded to Platinum, Diamond, Portfolio, Verbum Master, or Verbum Capstone I would be able to gain the fourth dataset or resource of the Richter Hebrew Morphology (whenever it is finally released).
So, I have two question:
- What is the fourth dataset or resource?
- Is, there any other way to gain the last dataset of the Richter Morphology other than upgrading to bigger Logos5base package?

I have all 4 but I can't tell what they are. Richter Hebrew Morphology appears in the listing of resources included in the Minimal Crossgrade, and it's got an asterisk next to it. The asterisk down below says "*License included with purchase. Content coming soon." So perhaps it hasn't even shipped yet. If it had, I would expect it to show up in this dropdown, but it doesn't:
Even if I could see it in that dropdown, it wouldn't help me to narrow down which of my resources are tagged with Richter Hebrew Morphology. I remember going through quite a long hunt a while back looking for resources that exhibited all the different morphologies on that list, when I was documenting the Morphology Codes. It was a lot of trial and error.

Searching for words that occur often can be useful for finding which resources have morphological tagging.
Changing from Morph Search to Basic Search can show list of Titles.
Wonder when for resource(s) with Richter Hebrew Morphology ?
Keep Smiling [:)]

That is probably how I acquired it when I purchased the Logos 5 Core Datasets.

You are right it hasn't shipped yet, but when it does I wonder if it will also be released as a stand alone product? It, is basically the only reason I have considered upgrading to bigger library.

Thank you BK ... and the info from Rosie and KSFJ. I feel even happier about my Logos5! (I'm still checking out my LXX Analytical Lexicon I also forgot about)

Hello DMB,
Whenever, Logos ships the Richter Hebrew Morphology (provided they contracted all of his massive database) they are going to be shouting about it! Richter's work contains a radical rethinking of grammar and syntax (and much more). To be sure not everyone agrees with Richter's innovations, but his work is sure to be different from most of the commercially available databases. For, more about Richter check out this link: http://www.biblische-einleitung.uni-wuerzburg.de/fileadmin/01010030/_temp_/JSS.PDF

As far as I can see it's not included in either the CD or the L5 MC. It's in the L4 MC. Try buying that. It should be cheap. Logos 4 Minimal Crossgrade.

Thanks,
If, I did not already have the Logos 4 Minimal Crossgrade I'd buy it all over again[;)]. It, was only like 20 bucks $21.82 when I got it I believe. And, I have 3 out of 4 datasets of the Richter Hebrew Morphology, too.

That's weird. According to the list, if you have everything in the L4 MC, you should have Richter. And they can't have added the 4th dataset in L5, because my printout of the Upgrade page clearly shows that I owned all 4 before upgrading.
I think I'll send someone an e-mail asking for an official comment.

I think I'm in the same boat as BK. Having looked over the L4-MC there's several items I don't (seem) to have. Maybe there was 2 MC's. I think Logos ought to start keeping track of what they owe per user (since they carefully track the other direction).

We haven't shipped the Richter material yet. It's a long, complicated story I'm not going to get into now, but I can say that we haven't forgotten it, and are working on it.
Sorry for the delay....

Bob, we know Richter hasn't shipped yet. At least most of us here know, including the OP. That wasn't the issue. The issue was: why does he only have 3 datasets out of 4, when the L4 MC ought to have given him all?
(Btw, the e-mail I thought of sending to Rick hasn't been sent yet. Bob turned up of his own accord.)

I believe this is just a configuration error in this product's metadata (which we haven't looked into before, because it doesn't exist yet). I made a small tweak to the server; does it now show you as owning 4 of 4 datasets? (You owned them all, all along, but they just weren't being counted properly.)

There's nothing to worry about here. The discrepency is probably because some old version of the product description was only aware of 3 possible deliverable pieces, where now the product description is projecting four. But if you have a license to the BHt, you will get each piece as it is finished.

That's what I suspected. Thanks for getting it sorted out. And for working on a Saturday.[:)]

Thank you so much it indeed shows it, now.[:D]

Thank you for your response to this thread. This is a pleasant surprise indeed. And, please do take your time on this database. This is going to be one of those features that makes logos standout and takes the study of Hebrew morphology in a new direction.Vincent Setterholm said:There's nothing to worry about here... if you have a license to the BHt, you will get each piece as it is finished.

I too am curious to hear any word on the Richter Hebrew Morphology. However, seeing as it is composed of four different databases covering the Hebrew Bible it is obviously a big project.

'This year'
I like your subtle humor. Though I suppose you could be referring to the remainder of the year. I suppose we could apply the same concept to NA28 apparatus.
Looking back on this thread, I notice I've become significantly more jaded regarding Logos. I've no doubt concerning the issue of missed promise dates; scholar-land is truly a jungle out there. But the inability to even communicate or be interested in communication is where I find most of the 'jade'.
Logos often times reminds me of a miniature train manufacturer. Periodically putting out a new box car. Neato caboose!! Offering the 1911 steam set for almost 80% off!!
Rumor has it the software is more than a hobby for pastors with time on their hands. But it's just a rumor.

Yep, I was being sarcastic.
If this hasn't happened already I hope faithlife/Logos one day assigns a product manager for Original Language products or at least a spokes person who can update us on the statues of Original Language products and be an advocate for us.

Whatever happened to George? I notice he's fielding OL questions quite well. Pretty soon he'll be graduating from seminary.

Was this ever released? Considering it is not currently available, I'm guessing not. Too bad - it would be a great resource to have.
