Hi,
I am preaching through Ephesians and have heard good things about this commentary series, especially the one on Ephesians. Could someone who have these in Logos speak to its utility vis-a-vis O'Brien, Thielman and Bruce (which I have)?

Thanks
I'm currently working through ZECNT on Ephesians, both for preparation for a couple of Study Groups I lead and as a means of strengthening my NT Greek. I think it is a very fine commentary, especially if you know a bit of Greek, and wish to interact with the Greek text. Clinton Arnold also speaks helpfully about the "power and magic" issues in the religious background of Ephesus (he has written extensively elsewhere on the issue).

It's a pretty good commentary. It's not as thorough as O'Brien, but a little more readable - and it's not as theological as Thielman. But it has insights of it's own, and it's certainly worth having. This review by someone who doesn't like the commentary actually persuaded me to buy it! http://www.bookreviews.org/pdf/7880_8606.pdf
Thanks for the reviews guys. Sold! and bought.
