BUG: No "download to" box

I am running 5.0b SR-1 on my MacBook. I purchased several books recently and decided to use the "download to" feature in my library. The feature worked well for one book… but when I went to add a second book, the "download to" box wasn't present. I viewed 20-30 resources, all of which did have the box. The one thing that seems different is the length of the "blurb"… I didn't know if that could cause the "download to" box to disappear. Any any case, it would be good to figure this out. Does anyone else have this resource to double check?
EDIT: It appears to be true for Zondervan eBook titles. I have found 5-6 more.

I do not have this resource, but I wonder if it may be a puclisher contract issue. I know there are some resources the publisher has not licensed logos to make available for downloading to the mobile apps.

Hi Fred
I wondered about that but I believe this is a Vyrso resource and I have assumed that all Vyrso resources are mobile-enabled.

I was thinking the same thing as Graham. It should at east be downloadable to the Vyrso app.

That is odd. I was not associating Bama's original post with Vyrso, but I now see it is an ebook. Very strange then

I wonder if Fred might have a point... Perhaps Logos turned off this feature for Zondervan books but failed to consider Vyrso titles... Or not. [:)]

It's not a blanket turnoff for all Zondervan books
I don't have any Zondervan ebooks to check against.

Thanks for checking on that Graham. I'm out of town and don't have access to my installation.

I'm looking into this. Are the 5 or 6 other resources you've seen have this happen all Zondervan, and all Vyrso e-books?

I've just purchased https://vyrso.com/product/21692/organic-outreach-for-ordinary-people-sharing-good-news-naturally and the download management features are not present in the Logos library.

Isn't this the usual mobile-non-availability of Z-published eBooks which we discussed several times before? They also don't show on biblia.com.
I think we became aware of this with when Deep & Wide couldn't be linked successfully (to biblia) from the Faithlife group. Do you have D & W on your mobile device?

No. ALL vyrso books are mobile enabled (but not necessarily biblia.com enabled).

Strange as it may seem, the Zondervan eBooks all lack the download to.... in the library, but they can be downloaded (just checked with Android device under two stable versions of Vyrso) and they even show up on biblia.Have joy in the Lord!

Mick - Let me clarify my previous statement... I think there may be a relationship between the two, but it isn't a straight forward permissions issue. Perhaps Logos has a general "lock" on Zondervan titles which is preventing the download to box from appearing, even though the resource is actually mobile enabled. Perhaps it is a "boo boo" barrier preventing the accidental download of an unauthorized resource. [;)]

yes. Or the contracts changed once again. Or the implementation somehow has a "regression" that allows download (and viewing on biblia) regardless - you know, back in the days it was on and off for some weeks, too. Maybe a "don't ask, don't tell"-situation?

Probably something like that. [:)]
