Hi all, on my mac, i have two different accounts; I was wondering how I could point Logos at a common location rather than downloading the library twice. Should I use a symbolic link, or is there a way to do it within logos? Thanks!

No. Logos is designed for "one user" and resides in your "user account library" on your mac… You might be able to jerry rig something, but nothing that is officially supported by Logos. Sorry!

One option is downloading to one installation, then use scan command in the other to copy resource files and locally integrate into index.

Wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_Multiple_Macs

Caveat: SQLite database files used by Logos 5 include resource version so sharing one set of resource files is technically challenging to update for more than one user.

Should I use a symbolic link, ...

Thread => Install on SSD mentions symbolic links.
